Who looks outside, dreams;
who looks inside, awakes.
–Carl Jeung
As a specialist in issues around people’s relationship with money, I understand and uniquely empathize how underlying factors such as past experiences, preconceived ideas about wealth, and the need to achieve societal archetypes can impact a person’s wellbeing and health. To effectively address these issues with compassion and science, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and financial models which are tailored to the particular situation of each individual client.
My goal is to gently facilitate the process of inner exploration and change by offering a safe and supportive environment where transformation and growth will successfully occur.
I have over 25 years of public accounting experience in the financial field, and ten years of practice as a counsellor. This unusual blend of disciplines becomes a powerful tool that I use to help clients gain insight into the sources of their financial issues.
How can we as professionals help others rise above difficult situations when we ourselves have not had that practice? The combination of my personal life challenges, the choices I took to make the best of them, as well as my ability to overcome these difficulties have made me a thoughtful and compassionate individual committed to alleviate inevitable human distress. My sense of social responsibility, paired with the genuine reward of assisting people to become more resilient and independent, emotionally and therefore financially, are what drives my conscience and my practice.
