Companies, whether small or large, private or public, bring people together, who have a wide range of interests, beliefs and personalities, which, understandably, don’t always harmonize. Perhaps the only reason why managers are paid higher salaries is because they, precisely, need to deal with the issues that arise from those differences, and furthermore, are required to create an environment where people work together and are motivated to give the best of themselves to the organization.
Currently, only large corporations are able to assist their managers in identifying the roadblocks that limit their leadership capabilities, and address them for their personal development, and consequently for the benefit of the organizations they work for. These companies have the means to hire firms that assess their corporate core values and maturity stages of their organizations. These variables represent the “personality,” so to speak, of the organization which can then be compared with the profile of their management. The gaps between the organization and each individual manager profile, becomes the basis to align organizational and management values to objectively measure performance.
My work in large and successful organizations, which have been able to invest resources in such initiatives, gave me the opportunity to learn and immerse these experiences into my practice. I bring this knowhow to all company proprietors and managers who want to explore, in more depth the challenges they face in their management capacity and the unresolved issues that limit them to reach their furthest potential as leaders. When management is able to reach this optimal stage of development, they will, without question, bring their companies to higher levels of corporate awareness and work satisfaction.
